O...oh, certainly. I'm really sorry it turned out to be something so minor... But I'm glad I could give you a hand with the studying. I do enough of it, and I really appreciated the help with my car.

But, um. Yes. That would be nice, if you'd like. Just let me know.

...I think it's the other way around, isn't it?

...no reason.

No. I have to repay you for letting me take care of cars like those.

Aw, come on, now I really want to know.

But you're taking care of them for me? Really, you're doing me a favor...

She told me I needed to find myself a girlfriend and start dating rather than studying all the time. It sounded rather familiar, is all.

Well, whether you think I need to repay you or not, I'm going to. I just have to figure something out.

Well, she is right. You should find yourself a girlfriend and do less studying.

...if you insist. I really appreciate it, though. Thank you.

Oh, not you too.

It'll be more fun than job-like for me, but you're welcome.

Aw, you act like it's some horrible thing. It's not like it would be that hard for you to find a girlfriend.

As long as one of us enjoys it.

I'm not sure about that much. Really, did I ever get around to explaining why I have an aversion to The Feminine Mystique?

And I really will.

No, you didn't.

My best friend is a girl. This doesn't really go over well very often. Ex-girlfriend carried a copy of the book in her bag, and saw Momo and I walking on campus. I do believe there's a scar on my head from where she threw it at my head.

I'll show it to you sometime. I've had pretty terrible luck regarding the fairer sex since then.

Girls love scar stories. You should tell if more often. Plus it makes you seem very innocent, not that you didn't before, and your ex-girlfriend very mean. It'll make you seem cuter. Well, to some girls... I guess some others might find it kind of ridiculous. I'm not one of the latter, don't worry.

I'm sure you've had better luck than you think. You probably have just had your nose too buried in a book to notice.

...even when they're stories about my being the terrible boyfriend who was seeing that horrible other woman at the same time? And she wasn't mean, just confused and misinformed. But that's good to know, at least.

Hm, you think so?

I'm pretty sure that version of the story would only come from your ex. I think anyone that meets Momo, except for your ex-girlfriend obviously, would realize that she's not the "horrible other woman" kind of girl. Well, she comes off as mean... tossing a book at you and all.

I wouldn't doubt it.

Ah, I suppose, yes. Momo is hardly the kind for that, and if she had just given me a chance to properly explain before drawing blood...

Should I be watching out for the librarians?

But then you wouldn't have that nice little scar~

Yes. Yes, you should. I hear librarians can be pretty wild at times.

You say it like it's a mark of honor or something.

...I'll keep one eye off my book at all times, then.
