The NHL is back!

Drinking tea and watching hockey.

Three months later than usual, which is more than a little upsetting, but, in the end, I missed this too much to stay bitter. Also, I'm so so so sick of hearing about and watching football. Ugh.

Hockey is the only sport that matters. I won't let Bettman's douchbaggery change my opinion on that!

I agree about the whole bitterness from the lockout, I might catch a game here or there on tv. Oh how I miss HNIC though, I used to live in Northern NH, and we would get the CBC feed from Montreal. So, obviously we saw a lot of Canadiens games. It was fun watching Don Cherry with his crazy suits

Yeah, I love HNIC! That's what I was watching today, actually. I live in Seattle, so we get the Vancouver feed.

I've just decided that, if there's a game on, I'll watch it, but I'm not going to pay extra to get Center Ice this year (which is something that I've done for the past few years) and I'm not going to buy anything that's going to give the NHL money. I want to support my guys and my teams, but not the NHL in general. It's kind of a fine line to walk, but I don't think that sitting around being bitter and denying myself hockey is really going to effect the NHL at all, you know?

Yeah, exactly. I'm going to take the same route myself with not spending anymore money on the league, as long as Betteman is in power. 3 lockouts in 20 years is a bit much, although, he did grow the league like he was supposed to, but shouldn't have had to with the lockouts. Its hard to say if they would have happened if someone else was the commish
