Here's Tiernan's new faceup, that I finished today. Woot. Three faceups in three days! I'm not totally satisfied - I think his eyebrows could be a bit darker. His freckles are a lot more subtle this go round - they look much better in person, maybe not so much in photos. I suck at taking freckle photos.

"Seeing the faceup" really doesn't matter as much as getting the full impression from afar. All the awesome closeups in the world only matter when the camera's that close, or when the owner is nose-to-nose with the doll, and when does THAT happen? So, that said, this photo gives the overall impression and I love it. Aware, thoughtful, kind of a restrained eagerness, to me - not to mention just cute.

Well, I guess I shouldn't admit how often I'm nose-to-nose with my boys. *twiddle* Hehehe. And thank you very much! Although, I never really thought of Tiernan as much of a thinker - I guess even dorky twits have their moments ;)
