Was up too late and up too early (in relation to the too-lateness, that is), and there was a rejection for two poems in my in-box when I opened it. And I don’t have enough left in the mental tank to get any new submissions out the door before midnight.

You rock. I enjoyed the Aeneid when I read it but I keep forgetting to think about getting my own copy.

I noted that you referenced Songs from the Labyrinth in a recent post -- maybe it was just the music you listed as what you were listening to at the time? -- and it impelled me to pick up a copy, and I'm so glad I did. I used to sing Dowland in college, when I was in a madrigal ensemble, and I'm still unreasonably fond of this stuff; to my pleasure, Sting does it justice.
