I recently bought the full box sets for Gurren Lagann and Outlaw Star, plus a DVD of original Ultraman, and there's the stuff I have out from Netflix. I haven't gotten around to watching any of it yet.

But when I discovered a copy of Fantasia in the house, I dropped everything to watch it.

I got my USB3 card, my new G19 keyboard, and new Razer Nostromo all hooked into my computer and ready to go. Getting the Nostromo to do what I want was tricky. For some reason, telling the d-pad under your thumb to act like a d-pad makes it act like the arrow keys. I got around it by mapping it to joystick axes. I find it vaguely depressing when I can't transform a Transformer. I grew up with these things. It makes me feel old and obsolete.

My ethernet switch no longer works. It is no longer needed, at least, because it was used to connect my computer to my network drive. That drive has since died, so now my computer is plugged directly into the wireless router. Which in turn is connected to the regular router downstairs, which is linked to the cable modem.

So if GMail doesn't consider "a hugely different IP from China logging into my account" to be unusual activity, what the fuck qualifies?

I went to Steak & Shake today. The original plan was Dave & Buster's, but my brother had to take the kids along, and because we were on a tight schedule, it was decided that maybe this would not be a good idea. Two days ago, I had a dream involving one of my City of Heroes characters, Umbral Reactor. He was voiced by Steven Jay Blum. I do not know why. I imagine him sounding more like Akio Ōtsuka (at least when he's in the suit, he probably has a voice filter in his helmet).

I ate at the Chop House. It wasn't bad. But for that kind of price, I do not want a bland piece of meat. And whatever they did to that meat to season it, they didn't do enough. Next time I go out with intention of getting steak, I'm bringing some garlic salt of my own.
