I don't know if they made changes or if these are just the worst most hateful writers in the history of ever, but was anyone actually happy with that finale outside of Chuck fans who love him no matter what he does or how he acts?
Lol it's probably a bit of both. Stephanie is adamant that that is where it was going which is just another lie to add to the list of those told in this finale.
The finale was Chuckistan's central, they even used the Claire theory and made Blair grovel.
It was so beyond any notion of logic and at the same time super depressing in terms of those characters. They're basically all back to the worst possible versions of themselves.
My own theory as to why DB didn't even breakup. They decided post 23 that CB was the story and since they don't want C to be nice to Blair, they didn't redeem him, they don't want B to hurt him either so they made her hurt Dan and now they're somewhat even in terms of awfulness.
I don't know one Blair/Dan/Serena fan who can be content with this finale
