cool man, it was neat seeing your schetchbook in person! Hooroo says part ii of this comic should be about onion rings.
Hey do you use Photoshop to scan? Not sure if you like the purple-y look of the scans as is or would prefer black and white ... anyway the shortcut to make something shades of black and white is shift-ctrl-u.
So glad you liked my sketchies! I had a lot of fun doing the french fries and all the gaga comics and it's good to see that other people think they're funny as well and I wasn't just amusing myself. :D
Ooooh, thanks for the tip! I've been adjusting blacks and whites through Levels and Selective Color, but starting with this shortcut really speeds up the process and makes everything much tastier. I went through all my gaga comics (I've been editing them this weekend) and about half of them needed that extra pop. Thankyuuuuuuuu hooray!
Sorry I was a bit awkward about giving that tip, but I didn't know if you were going to be like BEYACH OF COURSE I KNO! I don't wanna be annoying. When I scan comics I tend to desaturate it (our old shift-ctrl-u) and then ctrl-l to change the levels. When you do the same thing a million times it can be nice (and make you feel fancy) to know the shortcuts ... and Photoshop does not change them from version to version, unlike some programs I know, so memorizing it is handy no matter who's computer/version you have.
I like how yours look now, they were super cool before but the black black gives it a punch!
But I think I am going dizzy from looking at Stewart while I type this reply. :-0
Nooo, your tips are always welcome! I'm just learning these tricks as I go. Shortcuts forever! It's neat when you just start banging away at them without thinking.
Sorry Stewart made you so dizzy. He should be ashamed of himself.
