This was fantastic. Wonderful use of the science fiction aspects, and really great character work on Jack. He was always definitively himself in every scene. Lovely.

I really like the way you transitioned through these stories, the way Jack's name changed and the variety of situations that only Jack could get into. I particularly liked the one where he got arrested, oddly enough. Shows that, at least in some places, his time wasn't quite the perfect sexual utopia.

This is so creative, and totally how I envision Jack's sexual history.

here from joking's journal, and I'm really glad to read her rec. This is a well-written and creative way of looking not only at Jack, and Jack's sexuality, but at sexuality and mutual sensuality in general - it doesn't let normal gender binary considerations get in the way of telling an intelligent story. Thanks for writing it!

*replies months later* *is immensely disorganized* Thank you so much! The reason I wanted to write this prompt was because of the variety it requried, the way it practically forced me to write something new and different for each of the five times. Jack was really the perfect focus for a fic like this because with him you really can write several different species, genders and cultures as equally correct and deserving of respect.
You got it! :D
This is going to sound really ego-centric, particularly months later, but where is this rec? I love joking's stories like a giggly little fangirl and seeing this rec would be a massive ego-boost.
*edits* also, I love your icon :)

Loved all of these, seeing Jack's appreciation of the universe's diversity, and that he doesn't feel that he's settling by staying with Ianto because he's just a unique and fascinating in his own way as any of the others.

A fascinating selection of Jack's many conquests.
