You're not elderly! But since I don't exactly have shading here I can't show your expression as accurately. I'll draw a more flattering picture next time. ♥

Sokka, you and my dad are so alike. *sigh*

We appreciate good humor when we see it!

(OMG I remember the first time we had a kanji test in Japanese class this guy was a Chinese major and finished it in literally 30 seconds. I was there for ten minutes like ARRRGH STUPID CHINESE MAJORS I'M GOING TO EAT YOUR SOULS)

Uhhhh.....huh. Suki looks rather....wrinkled.

(HAHAHAHAAHAH, MY CHINESE IS SERIOUSLY NOT THAT GREAT! BUT ONE DAY WHEN MY INTERNET RETURNS SO I AM NO LONGER STUCK AT THE LIBRARY OR GETTING INTERNET VIA MY DAD'S BLACKBERRY, I WILL DO A JOURNAL ENTRY IN CHINESE. YOU CAN TRY AND READ IT!)

I really don't know what to say....

Your art is as impressive as always.

(Although I like the "Soka=Souka demo Sakka=Sokka wa ii?")

I thought that was a pretty accurate picture though!

(I was thinking of signing it in Katakana but I couldn't figure out how to write his name. Soka sounds like sou ka? and Sakka is soccer. So I figured Sokka actually writes the same in romaji and English so....yeah. Haha.)

How is it that your calligraphy has not improved in the slightest?

(I like the Japanese, though. Lawl.)

I'm practicing! I hope you noticed there were no rainbows or firebending in this picture.

(Teehee, when you study it daily it kind of seeps into everything you do? Plus it's fun to write in Japanese with that calligraphy brush.)

The lack of rainbows is an improvement, I will admit.

(I know exactly what you mean. -Japanese nerdface-)
