With regret, I've just emailed the Support Stacie folks and removed myself as an author for the September auction. It's for several reasons, honestly, but the two biggest are my frustrations with my output for the LAST auction, and the resulting misery/frustration that my husband has seen. He's specifically requested I not write

D: That sounds like it was quite heavy for you last time around. It's important you take care of real life firs,t and if fic/fandom is affecting real life like that, it's sensible to take a step back. It'll probably work out the best for everyone *hugs*

It sounds as if you made the right decision, but it's not as if you won't be there helping out and cheering people on anyway. Your own health and sanity come first, and there'll be other auctions and other ways to help.
