HELP!

Some of you make fanvids, right? On youtube?
I want to make one, too. But every program I use to cut up clips, turns it into this huuuuuge file like 100x bigger than the original uncut video...
What program you you guys use? Windows Movie Maker?
It's frustrating me a bit. I don't know how to fix it, and I'm an idiot with programs.
Hellllp.

Uh, hm. I've never really used Windows Movie Maker before, but when you got to save it, the third setting page in saving it is "Movie Settings," yes? And the default option is "best for playback on my computer," and then there's a "more options" link. If you click that link more options show up, and the third one has lots of bitrate options. So I'd try messing around with a lower bitrate option.

If that doesn't work I have no fucking idea. I use Roxio anyway whenever I do edit movies. But no matter what program you're using, there should be an option somewhere to toggle with the bitrate quality.

Ooooohkay, thanks. I'll try that.
I'll probably go download Roxio, too. :)

Well, I mean, Roxio kind of sucks, too. It's just that it's the only video software other than Movie Maker that I have. XD It's alright, though, has some good controls, and a fairly easy interface.
