How do you strike that balance, where you know how to protect without making things worse, where you let yourself fight without bringing destruction to the people around you?

very interesting. and that applies to so many personal relationships (parenting, especially) it's universal.

and rationalizing war... that's the only way a soldier can be, IMHO. good job
