I really liked this. I've gotta say, I'm intrigued by Nikki and Paulo, and I like what you did with them here. I like how you compared her to Claire and Shannon and showed how she was different from them, what I read to be more lighthearted and carefree, flirting just for the sake of flirting, not to get anything out of it, whether that be manipulation or a relationship. She came across as kind of girly and innocent but still knowing what she's doing, not completely naive, which I can really buy. And Paulo sitting on his ass and watching her, not making a move to help, that I can totally buy.

You really had Charlie's voice down here too, I really liked the tone of it, the way that he wasn't sure if Nikki was flirting with him or not and then the way that Claire was wondering why she was flirting with him.

Nice little piece, I enjoyed it :)

Yay! I'm glad you liked it. I was a little unsure about writing the newbies, but I decided I would start with what we know...and let my desire to befuddle Charlie make up the rest. :) Who knew that I could enjoy writing Charlie. (I should do it more often--he's fun).

Yay for smiling! I don't know why the first few of these things I've written have all been so angsty. I'm hoping for more excuses to write fun things, probably w/ Charlie or Hurley.
