It's not rude, it just sounds like you know more than the teacher. Which, in all honesty, is true. But she, being the teacher, might see that as an attack on her teaching style, which is what you're doing, and therefore might see it as rude.

Or so I believe, anyway.

I hate getting bad grades when I know I deserve more.

Not necessarily an attack on her teaching style, as more along the lines of her intelligence.

When people feel that their intelligence is being threatened, they usually seclude themselves in their happy mediums, Jacob goes into la-la land for instance.

She may be stupid, but if you know what she wants ahead of time and you do something different in the name of the definition of an outline, that's your own fault.
