Wonderful! That was heartbreaking. I love the way you describe Peter's kiss, it was perfect. And even though you used only a few words, I was so inside Gabriel's head, heart, and angst. God, I love that last line. You summed it up beautifully!

Haven't read this yet but I'm flattered (I think that's the right word?) and glad for the fact that my silly little fic I wrote for some friends inspired you in some way.

PS Regina Spektor is amazing, period, and I'm a big fan of the Big Girls Don't Cry video, although I think my reasons for that are pretty obvious, ha ha.

My favorite part of Moonlit Floor was 'make an honest man out of me'. For some reason I remember that above the rest and it's probably what got my muse thinking.
She (RK) kind of is, isn't she? I think I'd listen to Fergie more often, but Regina's voice is...so, so unique. Old school or something.
Song-fics, apparently, are my gateway into writing and I'm loving my playlists ;)
Totally! Milo V? Where? Sign me up!
Again, thanks for reading and commenting.

To add one more comment, I'm always interested to see how other writers deal with the fact that Peter was raised Catholic and Sylar was raised some kind of super religious. So they might have qualms about doing anything remotely homosexual, but then again, they've both done some pretty bad things according to the Ten Commandments so I guess they might have started to lose their faith, or became more lenient, if that makes sense?
(I brought this up because I think a part of me wrote that honest man comment because maybe a part of Sylar's subconscious would remember his upbringing and would want to try and make some right from this? If that makes sense? I dunno, ignore me, I overanalyze everything.)

That's a very good point. Clearly it wasn't something that was on my mind (or that I even thought of) when I wrote this. My muse is Sylar so I was lucky to even get something of Peter's "muse" out on 'paper ( ... )
