I like that! The only thing I would say was 'out of character' is how Peter is prone to getting physical and threatening when insulted/challenged/can't-think-of-what-to-say.

But that's a great argument and like you have Sylar think - amazing that they're talking, airing things out, figuring out where they stand. That by itself is a start!
