help with flying

Does anyone have an in in the airline industry? My mom had a heart attack yesterday and is going in for surgery tomorrow. I'm trying to scrape together enough cash to fly out to Orlando, but if anyone can help me get a discounted ticket I would immensely appreciate it. I just want to be with her.

Did you try kayak.com and priceline and all that? Or flying standby? You should be able to find something super cheap. Some airlines also have bereavement deals... look for that?

Girl I have two southwest gift certificates, one for $100 and one with about $25 left on it that I would be willing to give you. I'm not sure if Southwest goes to Orlando, but that would knock off $125 at least. Let me know ok, I will save them for you.
