I could probably find a use for some of those university books.

You're welcome to them. Not like I could sell them back to the university bookstore in their condition, anyway.

Well, as long as they're readable, they'll be a great help.

The covers are a bit warped as are the pages at the edges, but they're perfectly readable.

Not only are you studious but boring.

...And who are you?

Greg House, M.D. I'm bored. Possessions say stuff about people. Looks like you have no social life.

A doctor and amateur detective? Or am I getting an analysis for free now?

So....normal.

It's almost as if I'm an average university student from the Tokyo area who just happened to drive his bike into a hot spring.

The yen aren't usable here, but maybe carry it around in your wallet so that it'll be there if when upon you going home.

I happened to be carrying my drawing stuff with me when I came here, so I was pretty lucky.

I'm aware of that, Sakura explained it. I just thought it would be best to take inventory in case any need of that stuff comes up later.

That is lucky. Drawing means a lot to you, doesn't it?

Ah, that's pretty smart, then.

Yeah. I want to be a professional manga-ka.

I think you're well on your way. I don't know a whole lot about these things, but it seems your lines are good.

Well, if you are offering, I would certainly like to read it.

Norwegian Wood? My copy of it is pretty badly damaged, but still readable. Haruki Murakami is a legend in his own time, and rightfully so.

Unfortunately, I have never heard for him. Maybe he is not even alive where I come from? It's so very strange to think of that, still.

It's possible. If you come from a future, past, or timeline different from my world, you may not have been blessed with him. Hopefully the events won't be too alien - it's about a Tokyo college student and his experiences with love during the university riots in the 1960s. I think at least the themes of love and loss are understandable from all perspectives, though.
