I think the criteria of a best friend is the fact that the two ppl acknowldge that they are and take upon the responsibiliteis of best "frienddom". I dont think friends should have to be there for your every beck and call, but are the first to call in a time of need. Best friends should never be a last resort, when it seems like all else hs
