i would have guessed you had some sort of opinion about my list :)

well i haven't heard some of that stuff, most notably smile. the green day record will prolly be on mine. it's fucking phenomenal. sings greatest palace music will be on my disappointments list cos those songs are so much better as they were originally. rj's record will prolly be an honourable mention for me. i don't get all the hubbub about the iron and wine record...it didn't really impress me. maybe it'll grow on me. joanna newsom's record is easily my #1 tho...has been since i heard it. that shit is jaw-dropping.

i'm still working on my end of year list... i missed a lot of the stuff on your list... but i think that "funeral" is by far the best album of the year... and "satanic panic in the attic" is majorly excellent. but man, the new owen?????? biggest disappointment EVER! whew. it broke my heart. have a good one.

the new owen really grew on me...its not as good as 'no good for.." but i like the better thn the ep that came out between the two...let me know if you post yr list...

i think that we are polar-owen-opposites. The self-titled Owen album is by far the best (in my opinion)... probably one of my all-time favorite records... the EP second, and "no good" and "i do perceive" could play rock paper scissors for third and it wouldn't matter.

i am going to do my list in a few minutes here...
