i'm still rooting for these two... but not sure if it will happen. at least they are good friends. Julia teasing her about being alone really shows how they have become close friends and it keeps erica on her toes. having someone mock offend her all the time makes for good reading, and a witty erica.

i think having an outsiders perspective can help - and julia gave Erica some good advise in terms of callie. i'm glad she can see how she wasn't in fault and move forward.

it's what I wanted for Erica. I wanted new friend... someone who will teach her some things about herself, and show her that she can do some other stuff besides being in hospital ;). But as every friend Julia is a little annoying too. I know she want to help Erica, but as Erica said: “I am alone, because I want to be alone. What’s wrong with that?”
Julia also shows Erica that she should be more self-confident because she can. She knows that Erica is afraid a little.
I think that Erica really can learn a lot from her. And that's the point.

What a great chapter. I like that she’s building a support network without messy romantic entanglements right away. I’m a little worried about the return of Laura and Kevin. Can’t wait for the next.
