Since Ty is being phased into a 70cm form, I had my Mono up for sale and eventually (after about 6 weeks of nothing) traded him with Buff for her Soom Minigem Kremer upon her offer. I like the helpful fae but the scary older-style ones are so interesting.

lol. Thank you. ^^; Yes, I definitely subscribe to the old-stories where people were scared of the fae because they would steal children and such. XD Tricky ones, they are... Of course, fairies (with their butterfly-like wings) in particular are among the fiercest in my lore - like goblins, they are a warrior species, very territorial and fierce.

Ah yes, the children-stealing fae feature heavily in my story world too. It's the blue-orange morality of them that really piques my curiosity. I should write some more about them, they've only gotten creepier over the years since I last made character notes.

Also, I don't know if I've ever mentioned, but my idea of (most) fae matches up with yours nicely. One of these days, I'm going to actually get around to doing a full write-up on my multiverse full of fae (different type based on origin and region, obviously). The true fae from NuKemet are scary as fuck. They answer to no god, and are often the ones responsible for the missing bodies from the tombs, which leads to the occasional mummy plague, which is... yeah... I really do need to write about that stuff... Well, at least now I have a topic to go off on! I've been wanting to write all day, but couldn't figure out what to actually write. So instead, I've been playing Portal 2 and Scribblenauts Unlimited. XD

I did that a long time ago... lol. Wrote up about my fae and all (not too much but: http://me-under-glass.livejournal.com/112788.html eh, yep. XD). I love scary-ass fairies... <3 Send me a link if you do write it up! lol I just got up again (I went for a nap... it was too long (woops). But oh well. XD New job starts in about 12 hours... (Am I freaking out? Yep!!) Yeesh. Oh, well.

I certainly will (the link, that is). I'm just going to scrap my old notes, because they're largely incomplete, and start over on it. I'll do the fae first, though, as that's probably going to be one of the less insane writeups (get the family of gods involved, and omg... >.< ). I'm leaning away from trying to write the story of NuKemet out as a novel, and potentially looking into it as a tabletop rpg instead (the setting is certainly vast enough to cover it), and maybe write standalone stories to give it more life.
