when you said the new PS2 turns off automatically when it starts overheating thats a bad thing because it might shut off while you are playing a game and then you have to start all over again.
because the new ps2 is so small and narrow it probably doesnt have a fan so it will overheat like crazy. i think you should get the old ps2 they dont overheat and i can leave mine on all the time.
