Wow...his grandfather in laws 100th birthday!!! My friends great aunt had her 99th birthday three months ago and she is in great health...really spry and with it. An inspiration.

Perhaps brother in law could send her some energy....to help the transition I mean..and make it easier for her to leave her body?

Ohhhh....*cringe* I can't look at others injuries without feeling very squeamish. Same with my own till I learned self hypnosis. Before that I cut myself whilst chopping tomatoes once...and fainted. *LOL* Last time I had an injury was five or six years ago and my body sat in a chair waiting to be stitched up.... for 12 hours.....whilst I relaxed and went someplace else......no problem. Havn't you taught S. how to do that sweety...it comes in very useful sometimes.

It's difficult, because she's eating again and sitting upright... but keeps getting the food in her lungs instead of her stomach because of a previous stroke. So she never gets rid of her pneumonia. She's go a feeding tube through the stomach, too. If she's limited herself to being fed through that, she'd be fine. Eating is her only joy, though. I still hope she can get out of hospital. Not sure it's time for her dying, yet. She was fine and walking around and watching TV a couple of weeks ago. The pneumonia thing is her only problem (it has turned out she didn't have another stroke

Adding ("Post birthday world"): The author writes that people are quite divided as regards what was Irena's better choice... so, what would have been your choice (although I can probably guess... kissing Ramsey... but Irina's energy doesn't match with either of the men... duh!)

Nope...WRONG sweety. Kissing Ramsey would be a no no for me. Because she was already in a relationship and would be cruel to Lawrence. Unessessarily hurtful and selfish.

Personnally I think her best choice would have been to end her relationship with Lawrence as kindly and calmly as poss and, if she MUST, THEN have sex with Ramsey. But that's it. She'd have been better to get to know HERSELF rather than attatch herself to some narcissistic boring man. What the hell did she see in him?

Absolutly right...her energy didn't match with iether....different vibrations...which is why she should be on her own till she finds someone with the same or similar energy.

Lawrence was already dating Bethany at that time and pretended to work long hours daily - and at the same time he wanted to keep Irina! - He had been dating Bethany for more than five years at the end. Longer than the narrated time of the novel... But true, she didn't suspect him to - or she didn't want to see it... so, only knowing what Irina knows on Ramsey's 47th birthday would rule out kissing Ramsey.) - With "kissing Ramsey" I meant going for what you really want, not being a selfish... *insert swearword* *LOL*

Irina only exists through the men she's attached to... or maybe she uses them as masks, what do you think? Mistaking narcisstic for glamorous and cool is easy... and she wanted to be cool. She should just have gotten the same leather-jacket. *ROFL*

Well the fact that he was dating Bethany meant he wasn't happy with Irena. But not with Bethany either...perhaps he couldn't choose! *LOL* I think she didn't want to see it, or couldn't....... because she was so narcissistic. But most people know.....if they listen to thier awareness
