I love the artwork so much on this show. There's such a life and beauty in it that I haven't really seen in any other animated shows. Since I've been making the screencaps myself, it's likely that I've gone way overboard, but I'm having a good time.

And speaking of guilty pleasure fandoms, how are you doing with Buffy and Angel? Been a while since you've posted about them...

Yeah, I just haven't had much to say. Also, due to busyness, it's been going a little slower. But I'm making progress. I'm about 7 episodes into each of them. Enjoying Angel a lot, but this season of Buffy, while still entertaining, is just... bad... It's getting better, so I'm hoping by the end of the season it will be awesome again, but so far the writing is lame and the acting is worse than ever.
However, last night I watched the episode about Spike's vampiric origins, and I really liked that one. I quite enjoyed seeing the mild-mannered lovestruck William... quite different from the Spike we know and love. And I especially loved the scene with him fighting the Slayer in the subway in the '70s, good stuff.

I remember S5 being a bit slow to start, but I don't recall it being bad. To each his own, I suppose.

However, last night I watched the episode about Spike's vampiric origins, and I really liked that one.

The next Angel episode is a crossover from that one. (Well, the flashbacks are, anyway.)

...I took a whole lot more icons than I was planning to...but then I saw the Sailor Moon credits sequence icons and I fell in love all over again<3 I'll be taking three-quarters of your icons and will give proper credit! Very nice job, btw ^^b
