As a matter of fact, I tried to do that yesterday, but LJ is giving me hell. For one thing, I don't understand why it had to make me split the whole story into five - FIVE! - different entries. Secondly, my pc is filled with so much stuff that it takes it ages to post an entry. Much as I hate it, I'll have to do some overdue backing up. Meh.

Again, thanks for your kind words, for the beta work and for your support! I'm sorry I've been such a terrible LJ-friend, what with not commenting and all on yours, yet, but uni's killing me. *weeps*

in my opinion, slash fic shouldn't just be all about bonking.

Even though my current fanfic readings from the Clex fandom might suggest otherwise, *g* I totally agree!

*frowns* that doesn't sound right... i've posted fics much longer than this in a single entry. at most, you should only have to split it into two parts.

That's what I thought myself! So I tried to reduce it to two or three entries last night, but it didn't work. =S

I know years have passed since you posted this, and I remotely remember reading it before, but as I re-read it tonight I'll just have to say that I'd be amazed if I ever could write anything even remotely as good as this is. In other words I meant to say that this is as close to perfection as fanfics generally get. Being a bit jealous of someone else's talents is just my way of pointing out my appreciation, unfortunately.

Characterisation and plausibility (at least when looking at where the show was at 2008), style and emotion... everything just clicked in to place. Live long and prosper, H/R. I guess now I can go to sleep. Take care.
