A couple of hundred years later, do you think those parties stand for the same things? Who has brought us more government, wanting to control our bodies, our telephone calls, our freedom.

My original title was "The simpler times" because I was reflecting on that very thing. Personally, my experience is that whichever party is in power attempts to control our liberties in whatever way they can
