So they're like cable shows as most of those on HBO, FX, Showtime, etc., are between 10-13 episodes. Let me know if you like it. Some of the sex scenes are gratuitous and that is a bit off putting, but once I get past that I find the show to be exciting and well written.
Season 3 of True Blood was a hot mess. The acting was bad, character arcs were badly plotted and boring, and Sookie became intolerable. Her and Bill just grated this season. I found their relationship to be pretty gross. Alan Ball should really step aside and let someone else run the show. I think the genre does not play to his strengths.
