I really love the Berkshires a LOT. Between Pittsfield and Northampton there are these towns that are bucolic as hell, almost hidden.

I saw the Norman Rockwell museum, too. It gave me a much better appreciation of the man's work. It may be "graphic design" more than "art"--but it's really effective graphic design.

I also really like Litchfield County, the pretty countryside surrounding Torrington that is nothing like Torrington. Not much to "do"--though, because it's studded with rich people, there's more to do than you'd think--but very pretty.

Jeremy's mom is from the Williamstown/North Adams area. I've been up that way only once and fell in love with Shelburne Falls - I keep telling Jer that we should move there.
