'Different World' revisited

Nick At Nite has been showing this marathon of "A Different World" tonight and all week.

And the really cool thing? They're packaging it as a Hillman College class reunion, with footage of the actors as the ADW characters and where they are today, 13 years after they graduated/the show ended in 1993. (EDIT: Check out the spots and interviews here. ( Read more... )

I really liked the show "A Different World." Probably because it was about college and at the time, college seemed so cool to me. Plus, putting together a diverse cast so you don't have to see the same tired faces over and over again is always a good thing.

I'm interested in hearing what you think about the concept of this year's "Survivor." I've been meaning to post an open-ended prompt about it on my journal but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Hopefully by Friday.

Man, I don't even know what to think of the "Survivor" shit.

Conan had a good joke about it: "The producers of 'Survivor' thsi year have decided to make the teams based on race. They got the idea from the Third Reich."

Well OF COURSE Denise was a slacker. Every family has one, and she was the slacker in the Huxtable clan.
