Next week I really have to stop procrastinating Sorting the Piles. The big tower of charity mailings collapsed this morning; I just spent the last 15 minutes or so piling it into a file box. The third one this year, I think.

Know the feeling. Along similar lines (although without any collapses), we want to spend some time this weekend sorting large numbers of read books into our current bookcases. This will indicate how many *additional* bookcases we need to go out and buy.

If you're not ready to throw them away immediately, maybe mark them with your own "expiration date" so after that date, you can toss quickly?

Part of the problem is not wanting to take much time. And one doesn't know the expiration date; it's whenever the next one comes in.

So the right thing is to sort by category, and toss old mailings when the next one from the same place comes in. That handles them no matter what the frequency is.

And you need to find that piece of binder paper with the list of photos on it for artbeco. I don't know what you did with it, but I'd like it if you'd stop stalling on that note.
