Today I am grateful for...

Being alive. It suddenly occurred to me last night that I ought to be grateful for that. I guess? It's better than the alternative, anyway.

Wordpress is not only written in PHP; it's also full of security holes -- as I found when my turnkey Dreamhost (but not DreamPress) wordpress site got hacked (dreamhost sensibly turned it off until we could get it fixed, and since honestly we weren't using that blog for much we just killed it rather than trying to untangle the hack). Hopefully, DreamPress is staying on top of zero-days though.
