How the heck did it get to be a week since I was snowed in on Whidbey? It feels like the entire week was spent (most people would put "on" or even "working on" here, but it reads better as simply) Going Sideways; mostly fighting with WordPress. I did get a little done on $writing-gig-6 though.

Re “random intrusive thought - I'm not sure who I am anymore.” For the larger fraction of your life, a portion of your identity has been defined by you-in-relation-to-Colleen, and to a lesser extent you as one-half of two (which are not entirely the same thing). And now Colleen is - I’m not going to say gone, because that’s not true at all - but she’s not *here* in physical form. There’s an unfamiliar space in the place where the perception of you-in-relation-to-physically-present-Colleen has been all those years. The process of adjusting to any new reality can make everything look and feel strange, even one’s own identity. It's mostly a temporary state, but it does take time.
