did you see the link about boiling water used in netti-pots?

I've seen that recently, but so far I haven't had any problems with tap water. I suspect that if one has a functional immune system and treated, municipal water it's not much of a problem.

I suppose the first question is what is ACM... I'm going to guess that's the Association for Computing Machinery?

Right. If you're a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, you have access to their "digital library" which includes a selection of free books from ttp://www.safaribooksonline.com/ , free courseware, audiobooks, and more stuff I haven't explored yet.

As it turned out, he took me downstairs for coffee -- just as good. It means we could have an informal talk rather than an interview, which would be more adversarial.
