Ripple... wow. One of my favorite songs. Chris Hillman recorded a more explicitly country version of it, and I used to play the fuck out of it when I was a country-and-western DJ. There's just so much waiting behind those lyrics, just out of reach...

And when I heard that Garcia was dead, the first thing that popped into my head was, "If I knew the way, I would take you home..."
