I took a walk, going West on McClellan for a change, which quickly took me into the quiet residential area of Monta Vista. It's quiet enough that I'll be able to make phone calls (if I can ever get back into that habit).

The trails along Stevens Creek (the creek, not the road) starting at McClellan Ranch Park are very nice too. Go west on McClellan past Monta Vista high school, around the corner to the left and down the little hill to the creek. It's just under a mile from Bubb Road to the park entrance.
