1. m-i-l ... is that the property-tax-rate thing my father in law was talking about? 2. Sounds like I'm in trouble ... 4. Do I have a choice? 5. Sounds good. Which reminds me, I'm meaning to be on the phone with churches and realtors about now.
1) Oh! Right! I'll give it my best shot. [Note to self: find house with furnish-able basement or attic] 2) I know, I actually really appreciate the thought! It's just all a bit much awfully soon, if you know what I mean ... we've hardly even had time to get used to the being-married thing! :-)
By the way, something kind of cool ... I picked up Geni from work for lunch, and when we were getting ready to leave Bell's Greek Pizza on Grand River Ave. near campus, a middle-aged guy came in with a big black ashen cross on his forehead! Our pastor back home had a story of a guy coming in to work at a law firm where he worked just out of college, and the guy bore similar evidence of having already been to an Ash Wednesday observance ... Mass, I would expect, since it would have had to have been in the morning. It was kind of neat to see such a thing in person, and in a part of town I've always thought was pretty flagrantly liberal.
Dude, Jesus is your friend, right? Well, then, you'll always have a friend with you when you go to a Catholic church! :-)
Anyway, if HE isn't enough for you, come on down to South Bend anytime and attend the liturgies (not just services, but liturgies) with us. :-) The doors to a Catholic church are always open, at least figuratively speaking.
[odd ... seems I just replied to this comment and it didn't "take"]
Thanks for the great thought on how to think of things, and we just might have to take you up on your offer. We need to get down that way for a general visit pretty soon anyway, and what with arranging extended-family visits right now, this might be a good time to think about it. Keep after us to check scheduling issues and get back to you, will you?

2. Why is that? I would assume it would be a good thing to get presents for the baby, thereby saving you the expense of purchasing them yourself.
3. No.
