Recipient: mmyrtle Prompt: HG/SS, in which one of the pair discovers that the other has an unusual talent. Word count: 100 on the nose. After careful weeding. Rating: G
Severus knew that a talent for potions didn't mean a talent for cooking, but he refused to admit it. Nevertheless, he was unable to make a sauce that didn't have lumps in it.
Hermione laughed as he counted how many times he stirred, but she stopped when she spotted the tongue poking out of his mouth in concentration.
"Do that again!"
"Do what?"
"That thing. With your tongue."
"What, this?"
"How do you DO that?"
Severus smirked and went back to stirring.
Half an hour later, he spotted his wife in front of the mirror trying to roll her tongue.
Or maybe it just bugs her enough that she can't do it that she's ignoring that fact, hoping that she's able to trigger some rogue genes or something. :p
It is, isn't it? I considered making it the other way around, with Hermione doing something Mugglish, but it wouldn't bother Severus as much that he couldn't do it. :)
