I'm thrilled that you liked it, thank you so much for letting me know. I was really worried because I know it's been done before and done better but I really love the idea of John having always trusted Rodney, even if he can't admit it.

Oh, this was wonderful!! Trinity is like my all-time favorite episode and I will always believe John never stopped trusting Rodney. For him to say that to Rodney here, when Rodney really, really feels there's nothing he can do is just sooo perfect.

Yay. I'm so glad that you liked it. Trinity is one of my favorites too, even though it can be hard to watch, and I just love how much it gave us about their relationship.

Oh wow, such a compliment. Thank you so, so much. I was trying to find the line between John saying what we wanted (and Rodney needed) to hear and not have it be out of character for him. I'm thrilled that it worked for you.
