Summary: For the McSheplets Challenge: Touch -- where again I have managed to write a McSheplet without Rodney or John in it...
Teyla sighed, slipping off her shoes and gracefully sinking into a chair. It wasn't long before Ronon joined her, as she hoped he would.
"Nice party," he offered, putting down a plate of food and a large mug of ale on the table.
"It is," she agreed.
They sat in silence, watching the party as the Lanteans enjoyed themselves.
"Nice ceremony, too," Ronon commented drinking some of the ale.
"I wanted to ask," Teyla floated. "Rodney's outfit, it is distinctive and I have not seen the Lanteans wear anything like that before. What was it?"
"He called it a 'tux'," Ronon explained. "Dunno. Kinda fancy, if you ask me. He kept touching that strip that went around his neck and Sheppard finally had to come in and fix it."
"It looked very nice, though," Teyla responded with a smile. "As did John in his uniform."
"Well, Sheppard must have thought so, too," Ronon grinned. "He had his hands all over McKay... like he wanted to take that tux off of him before the ceremony."
"Ronon!" Teyla laughed.
Ronon shrugged, working on the last of the food on his plate. He sat back with the mug in his hand, tipped his head back to to drain the ale.
Ronon leered, "Well, since I haven't seen them in a while, I suspect Sheppard has managed to get it off of McKay by now."
