Yeah, I love White Collar and Leverage, but it's a bit daunting to write - love reading it though. when others do it well. But SGA ia still awesome and full of creativity and it's my comfort place. Looking forward to reading your story.

White Collar is a great show to watch, and people who write it well have all my admiration. I'm sure you could pull it off brillantly

My stories are often better if I sit on them for a while. For one thing, I don't need to figure out the mood or writing style (or starting point), since the basic structure already stands.

Mmm, yeah, maybe, but there really is no inspiration in it for me. I'll happily read the fic other people are writing.

White Collar for me is just "one of those shows", like Doctor Who or Cowboy Bebop. I love them, they're fun, but I have no desire to read fic.

It's like that with Doctor Who for me. For one thing, I don't know enough of the canon. For another, I'm not even sure I like the Doctor, in whatever incarnation. I've little desire to read fic about people I don't like.

I think the lack of canon-knowledge is partly it for me, but also because I'm not involved enough with the show to want to read the long, plotty genfic like I do in SGA. And I find it hard to imagine the Doctor in any kind of romantic relationship, so that rules out like 80% of the rest of the fic.

Yeah. He doesn't really strike me as all that emotionally accessible.
