This just in from Norman, OK
ME. After a whirlwind, 30 hour round trip from Texas to Oklahoma, I'm back and ready to do my duty as a pinch-hitting type person.
1. How long have you been writing fan fiction?
The first fanfic I posted was an L&O:SVU het fic, with a big dose of Mary Sue. That was way back in 2004.
2. Have you participated in any other fandoms?
The aforementioned L&O:SVU. Then, I followed Christopher Meloni over to the Oz fandom. From there, I discovered due South, where I stayed for a solid two years before moving on to SGA.
3. What do you enjoy most about SGA and/or SGA fandom?
Firstly, the characters of McKay and Sheppard have just totally drawn me in and taken me over. There's something about the energy that crackles between John and Rodney that's just better than anything I've ever seen. And I feel almost as strongly about the whole of Team Sheppard. Secondly, there are so many writers in this fandom who are just crazy-talented. On any given day, there's the potential to read something amazing. And third, is that anything goes with these characters - animal transformation, Rodney-wakes-up-a-girl, John has wings -- I love it!
4. Why did you choose to join Team Angst/Team Romance?
I've been suffering from the dreaded sap disease since I started writing fanfic. I just naturally go there!
