This was fun and interesting, I like the way the prompt is used and getting a glimpse of a future Rodney and John. Plus, very sweet ending where they're so *boys* and can't talk about their feelings. I like the little details as well, such as Rodney remembering how they celebrated John's promotion and the way they deal with each other's issues.

Nice integration of the "test" element of the prompt at the very end. The confrontations with manifestations of the "acid" element (that is, suitably mastering each one) put me in mind of Professor Lupin's boggart lesson in Harry Potter -- another sort of test. Thank you for sharing.

Very interesting. Love the Ferris Wheel. And Rodney trying to figure out why his relationship with Jennifer failed, before he potentially messes up his romance with John, is very believable. I actually called my ex-boyfriend the night before my wedding and asked him what I had done to mess things up. So yeah, very nicely done. And I loved the subtle yet hot sex too.

Really liked it! And a believable break-up between Rodney and Jennifer and Jennifer still being nice and not a bitch - I really liked that, since I'm actually rather fond of Jennifer (and thinks she should have ended up with Ronon or Lorne in canon.)
