Brilliant. there was so much gold in this story! Are either of you feeling, say... evil? lol. I loved the way none of the others got on. It made our Sheppard and McKay seem more real and recognisable. One of my favourites so far!

YAY! This was awesome. How could it not be, with the colour-coding and the anthropologist and John's great grand fuck-you to the universe! Brilliant! Thank you!

I love the way you inverted the fandom cliche of they go to another universe and discover other versions of themselves who are involved. Marvelously done.

Cutely irritated is now my favorite McKay description ever.

The full name of the box was the To-Be-Studied-By-The-Semi-Competent Box. It was a grade above the Busywork-For-Useless-Minions Box, but a step below the large crate that was officially named (and labeled in black sharpie), the Doctor-McKay-Gets-All-The-Cool-Toys-Just-As-God-Intended Box.

YES LOVE. LOVE. Hee!

I love this idea! Though, I think John has it all wrong... heh.

"You were there," John said pointing, unable to hold back a giggle. "And you, and you."

"Oh my God," Rodney said. "You've been damaged in transit."

*giggles*

John opened his mouth to see if whining might succeed where puppy eyes had failed, but Teyla silenced him with a glare.

"Three missed sparring appointments equals one meditation session, John. I am sure we have discussed it."

Oh, you GO Teyla! <3<3

Teyla thought the universe wanted to guide him. She was more right than she knew ( ... )

Oh, and I wanted to add: I choose to believe the universe was clever, rather than stupid. I think it's more fun for John to think he's giving the grand Fuck You to the universe, rather than following some kind of destiny. The universe ran out of universes where they weren't together! That's why they were all at the same place. And OUR John was the only one of the multiple universe Sheppards at the last place to not lie about everything. /tinhat

I think you picked up just about every line that made me laugh.

This is a great twist on the usual universe-tripping story. Very clever and delightful. Yay!
