I am a *huge* baseball fan, and I loved every bit of this story, from beginning to end. Everyone's voices were pitch-perfect, but they fit into their roles here perfectly. The names of the league and the teams were great, and I like how you mirrored the various rivalries. John's thoughts about the Wraith were funny - maybe they only practiced at night? It's funny, I hadn't ever thought about it, but Rodney really does have the perfect body type for a catcher and power hitter. Okay, this is a little bit disjointed, but know that I really adored this story.

(So would this story be classified as "baseball accidents made them do it"? Since there weren't any aliens around, but I don't know if John would have made his move without needing kinky baseball sex to help Rodney get over his fear. Maybe this should be a new category...)
