A very fun, sweet story. I can see John getting it into his head that Rodney needs non-competitive fun in his life. And I totally approve of his ultimate solution. :-)

Sweet! I'm very happy to hear that, I always get nervous with writing comedic stories. Thanks for commenting!

"Meredith noticed that they suspiciously never actually played on the monkey bars themselves, though, so he ignored their squawking."

That sounds like a sadly all-too-accurate portrait of what Rodney would have been like as a child - smart enough to see the discrepancies between what adults say and what they do and therefore quickly learning to distrust pretty much anything anyone says.

*nods* I'm so thrilled you picked up on that line, I really liked the way it came together for just those reasons - I like to think it's why Rodney has such a low threshold for dealing with others, because he feels like he's been lied to since he was a child.

Anyway! I really appreciate the feedback! Thank you! :)

fun story! Loved John trying to come up with a way to get Rodney to just relax and play. Loved your OC Inika. Hee! And adored that last line!
