interview!

Hi! *skids into own interview late, attempting to use the typhoon as an excuse*

1. What was your first fandom? Starblazers (Uchusenkan Yamato) back in elementary school. I was writing fanfic before I even knew I was watching anime.

2. How did you get into writing fanfic/creating fanart? *points up* If you're asking "how did I start publishing on-line instead of scribbling into notebooks and throwing them away", well, that would be due to discovering two things: the Severus Snape Fuh-Q Fest and LiveJournal. I was amazed that people would let me post my stuff. (Biggest lesson learned: no matter how much you personally feel I'm not worthy!, act like you are.)

3. Is SGA your main squeeze, or are you poly-fandom-ous? Yes *g* Currently, most of my writing is SGA (some SG1 and SGU), with a little Hawaii 5-0 and White Collar on the side.

4. What makes John and Rodney such an inspiring couple for you? Because the show is, at heart, about the characters and their relationship, they can go anywhere and do anything. *enjoys taking characters apart to see what makes them tick*

5. Who's your favorite, John or Rodney (or both)? How come? John, of course! The show really gave us so little background about him that connecting the dots we have can be evidence of anything if shown in the right way. (Plus I enjoy whump without woobiness, and John's always defiant on his knees, and while I can get behind McKeller, S5's John was very lonely and unhappy, I felt.).

6. Where can people find more of your work (McShep or otherwise)? The unlocked stuff is on AO3 or my woefully maintained website.

7. Pick a piece/story of yours that stands out for you. Give us links and tell us why! Argh! I have no idea! Have some ducks.

8. Finish this sentence: John and Rodney walk into a bar... John's wearing his favorite corset under his BDUs; he's been dead a while now, and that's apparently what happens when you die while planning to have kinky sex after the mission, when you're back home safe and sound. At least, he thinks, glancing over at Rodney, who hasn't looked him in the eyes since he died, he got his team home safely. He can't help feeling a little selfish, though (and what better time to be selfish than when you're dead and still walking around?). He wants things to be how they were. He wants Rodney to strip him down to corset and stockings and tell him he's beautiful. He's terrified that this is his ever after.

9. What question do you wish we'd asked? I don't know! You can ask me in the comments!

Let me ask this to the audience, though: POV! Which is easier for you to write, Rodney's, John's, or other? Is there a reason for that? Do you find that your writing style varies depending on which POV you are writing in?
