You are allowed to appeal any ticket in a court of law. Most people don't they just pay the fine which is an admission of guilt. But, if you appeal it in court 9 times out of 10 you will get off since the cop won't show and you just make something up to refute the ticket.

I just want to waste time out of life by getting him to go to it.
