Am I the only one who thinks part of the 'Worst Album' nomination came out of that whole stupid thing with the article? >.> Certain people at NME would not have been disappointed to see them in that category after that.

But hell, then again, this is kind of how it always goes. Best/Worst Band, Hero/Villain of the Year, etc. \o/ I love how polarizing they are.

And I'm disappointed Gerard is not up for Sexiest Woman. >:(

The nominations are based on fan votes, notice they got both best and worst and then several best nominations. MCR is a polarizing band and they always have been. Wouldn't surprise me if they eventually won both best and worst album.

This is NME awards btw, not Kerrang.

Most likely - it's already happened a few times, hasn't it? :D

"The most credible music awards in the world."

El-oh-El.

And, does anyone know if these things are actually recorded? I vaguely remember them actually streaming this one year, but it could have been Kerrang! or even another publication I'm remembering. What are the chances of us seeing this performance that isn't a fancam?

They're normally televised, in the UK at least! So I'd think that would probably surface online at some point. : )

(seconding the el-oh-el though, ugh, NME. Most awkwardly apathetic awards show ever. Cause they're ~cool, lolz.)

Why is Gerard up for Hero of the Year? You are living in the past, NME.
