I just realized that the first link was already posted here! Which means I'm awake too early. And I've edited this comment like 50 times now, ENJOY THE INBOX.
I was just comparing the links and realised the same thing, although it did take me a while, which is probably a sign that I should also go back to bed!
I'll keep an eye on the radio website, as I think they mentioned something on twitter about videos being posted later.
Acoustic gigs by rockers is always kindof interesting. So few of them do anything different, other than unplug their guitars or simply switch to the acoustic guitar. That's all well and good, but I personally like it even more when we get the songs not simply unplugged, but with a different beat, flavor, tone, underbelly. (See Nirvana Unplugged for the mastery of that idea.) These three pieces I think did three different things.
I loved Helena acoustic! It had such a different feel to it. Great execution of an acoustic re-work: def. a different tone and underbelly of a classic. I was very moved. INOK was just itself, unplugged, which was still fun (although I think Gerard got lost on that one "I'm not. OKAY!" that's different? OR MAYBE HE'S CHANGING IT UP ON US AND THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END.)
And Summertime was its exact normal self, lol. I love that their range allowed an acoustic set to vary in song interpretations like that!
I agree. Of all the promo they are doing in LA this week, this was the once concert that would have been fun to attend. I think they did a great job with the Acoustic songs, and excited they played Summertime! It really works acoustically. It was a bit of a trip to see Frank with an acoustic guitar.
Would like to see a transcript of the Q&A, I couldn't understand 1/2 the answers in this video. Not that many of the questions were lame, but it's frustrated to only half an answer.
Agree with you on the Nirvana, Unplugged is a great album.
If there are still tix after the presale ends tonight, I'm getting one for the Grammy panel. WANT TO COME??? I just. THEIR FACES. I wasn't going to go but. I'm going to. If I can.

(Could the "painting" bit have been MORE UNCOMFORTABLE? Srsly, lady, do your research! Maybe a little bit! IDK. She annoyed me.)
And of course Ray wants a pet monkey to do the chores around the house. ♥

I loved Alicia's hair when she came into frame for a second. It almost looks like a silver-grey colour, but maybe just the light?
